Prof. Xiaoliang Xie,is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Lee Shau-kee Professor and head of Faculty of Sciences of Peking University. He also serves as the Director of Changping Laboratory, and the director of the Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Genomics, Peking University. He is also a member of US National Academy of Medicine, the US National Academy of Sciences, and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.

Research Interests

As a pioneer of single molecule biophysical chemistry, coherent Raman scattering microscopy, and single cell genomics, he made major contributions to the emergence of these fields. Furthermore, Xie has made significant advances on medical applications of label-free optical imaging and single cell genomics.
