The 21st Beijing Conference and Exhibition on Instrumental Analysis (BCEIA 2025) is scheduled to be held on September 10-12, 2025 (9th Registration, 13th Adjourn for Academic Conference) at China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall), Beijing. Adhering to the vision of “Analytical Science Creates Future”, BCEIA 2025 will continue to host academic conferences, forums, and exhibitions under the theme of “40 Years Prosperity, A New Era of Analytical Science”, welcoming and celebrating our 40th anniversary with all of BCEIA’s friends and partners.
In anticipation of BCEIA2025, the sponsor, China Association for Instrumental Analysis (CAIA), has specially arranged a series of exclusive interviews. Recently, we were honored to interview Professor Myeong Hee Moon of Yonsei University. Professor Moon is a world-renowned scientist with expertise in field-flow fractionation for the separation of biological materials, colloids, macromolecules, as well as field-flow fractionation channel development.
During the interview, Professor Moon shared valuable insights into his team's advancements in Thickness-Tapered Channel for Flow Field-Flow Fractionation technology. The technology is expected to be a promising tool for various applications.
Professor Moon shared his experience in participating in both NCASI 2024 (the 1st National Conference on Analytical Science and Instrumentation)and BCEIA (Beijing Conference & Exhibition on Instrumental Analysis), organized by the China Association for Instrumental Analysis. He indicated that NCASI2024 has provided an excellent opportunity for experts from industry, academia, and research to connect, share insights, and foster growth.
As BCEIA approaches its 40th anniversary, being a very old friend and a long-time supporter, Prof. Moon, recounted his past experiences and expressed heartfelt expectations. Professor Moon highlighted the platform’s significant contributions to the development of global analytical science and emphasized the importance of BCEIA continuing to serve as a global hub for interdisciplinary exchange, “attracting diverse voices from around the world and fostering even deeper collaboration across disciplines,” in the future.
