Session Introduction

The Electron Microscopy and Materials Science Sub-session is carefully organized by Academician Zhang Ze from Zhejiang University, Professor Han Xiaodong from Beijing University of Technology, and Professor Yu Rong from Tsinghua University. The content of the session covers key and hot scientific issues in international frontier fields such as electron microscopy theory, materials science, new instrumentation technologies and methods, energy materials, environmental materials, structural materials, functional materials, nanomaterials, and magnetic materials. The session highlights the important contribution of in situ transmission electron microscopy in leading material design, emphasizing the use of in situ techniques to design new energy materials. It also focuses on the development of transmission electron microscopy technology and its applications in the fields of energy and life sciences. The session brings together top international and domestic experts to present their latest achievements. Additionally, the session will invite manufacturers in the field of electron microscopy to introduce the latest advancements in instruments and their applications in materials and physics, using the most advanced technologies to promote application progress and address materials science and microscopy challenges.
